Bob Klinar recently moved to Midland, Michigan, from Cleveland, Ohio, where he was born and raised. After a rewarding 35-year career in education as a high school principal, art teacher, and football coach, Bob recently retired—but retirement didn’t last very long!A lifelong football enthusiast, Bob has both played and coached college football and has led multiple high school football programs throughout the greater Cleveland area. He also maintains an active, fitness-minded lifestyle and has completed the Chicago Marathon 20 consecutive years, a testament to his commitment, discipline, and love of the sport.After relocating to Midland with his wife, Jennifer, a Midland native, Bob quickly found a new way to serve his community. He currently serves as the Coordinator of Middle School Youth Ministry at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and is also a member of the Midland High School football coaching staff.Bob and Jennifer enjoy their life together in Midland, surrounded by their seven adult children between them and four dogs. Bob is excited to begin this new chapter of life—continuing to serve young people, coach, stay active, and become an active part of the Midland community.
